T John College, Department of Computer Applications conducted the Inter- Collegiate IT Fest ENIGMA ’10 (Mystery to be unravelled) on 6th October 2010. The Fest was inaugurated by Shri Kamal Kumar, MD & CEO, Dassault Systems Delmia (Asia Pacific, makers of Mirage and Jaguar Aircraft from France) along with Campus Director Wg. Cdr. (Retd) Sambasivan, T John Group Of Institutions, Principal Dr George Easaw, T John College and Head of the Department Prof H G Rajashekhara . 200 students from 21 colleges such as R.V College, Christ University, Kristu Jyanti , BIT, St. Joseph, Hosur, etc participated in various events. The chief guest shared his views about the upcoming IT boom. He spoke enthusiastically about the “Young -brigade” and 3D advantages, Diversity, Demography and Democracy. He emphasized that we had a number of talented youth in our country as compared to China.

In this mega event, there were different kinds of technical & non-technical events, such as Coding & Debugging, Treasure Hunt, Web-Designing, MAD-ADS, IT Quiz, Extempore, Dumb Charades and FIFA 07.

Students from all over Bangalore participated in all the events and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Before the prize distribution, the college Rock-band played music and this was followed by Garba & Bhangara dance by students of T. John College. Students from different colleges had a very enjoyable time.

The Chairman of T. John Group of Institutions Dr. Thomas P. John was the chief guest for the evening valedictory ceremony. He heartily welcomed and thanked all the participants of different colleges. He spoke on the leadership skills & emerging trends in the industry and encouraged all the final year students to step out with confidence and embrace the challenges of this world. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the Head of the Department Prof H G Rajashekhara, faculty members & students for organizing a very successful event.
