T. John College
1) What is the Eligibility
Criteria?
 BHM, BBM, BCA, BA
(Journalism) & Diploma in General Nursing: Eligibility required
pass in 10 +2/ XII Std./ PUC etc., in any
combination.
B.Sc (Computer
Science): Eligibility required pass in (10/ +2) examination with 2
science subject as optional, either Physics,
Mathematics, Statistics or
Computer Science in +2 level.
B.Sc (FAD)
Fashion and Apparel Design: Eligibility required 45% marks in aggregate
in 10+2 examination in any combination.
MCA: Eligibility
is any Degree with 50% marks in aggregate (All subjects including
languages) of 3 years with Mathematics as a
subject.
M.Sc. Bio
Technology: Eligibility is any Degree with 50% marks in aggregate (All
subjects including languages) for 3 years with
Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry as a
compulsory subject with any two natural science subjects.
M.Sc. Bio
Chemistry: Eligibility is any Degree with 50% marks in aggregate (All
subjects including languages) of 3 years with
Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry as a
compulsory subject with any two natural science subjects.
B.Sc. Bio
Technology/ Genetics/ Microbiology: Eligibility pass in 10+2
examination with two science subjects as optional, either
Biology, Chemistry, Botany or
microbiology subject in +2 level.
2) What is cost of
Prospectus and Application form?
The prospectus and application form will cost Rs. 700.00. You may
collect from our Admission Office at Manipal Centre or you can send a
DD. of Rs 700.00 in favour of T. John College payable at Bangalore.
3) What is the Last Date
for Submission of the Application form?
Admissions are going on now. Complete your admission formalities as
soon as possible.

5) What are the Hostel Fees?
You can contact us on +91 80 25597817, 25092057 for further datails,
since the Hostel fees varies according to the choice and fascilities.
6) What is the Procedure to
apply for a Loan Facility?
On payment of the 1st year/ 1st semester fees to the college, the
student will on request be issued a Bonafide Certificate with estimated
expenditure, which you may present to your bank, for availing the loan
facility from your bank.
Our Bankers are Union Bank of India. Educational loan is available to
candidates under Union Education Scheme of UBI, subject to the terms
and conditions. The Bank's decision though is final.
7) What is the Procedure to
Reserve a Seat?
For UG Degree Courses: You have to send a
DD of Rs. 20,000/- in favor of T. John College payable at Bangalore.
For PG Degress Courses: To reserve you
will have to send a DD of Rs. 35,000/- in favor of T. John College
payable at Bangalore.
8) How to get Direct
Admission?
a) Send a DD for Rs. 700/- in the name of T. John College, payable at
Bangalore, towards Prospectus and Application Form. We will send you
the Prospectus and Application Form immediately on receipt of your DD
of Rs. 700/-
b) Go through the Prospectus thoroughly.
c) Fill up the Application Form given in the Prospectus.
d) i. For MBA, MCA, M.Sc.(Bio-technology), M.Sc (Bio-Chemistry), send
us the Application Form along with DD for Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees Twenty
Thousand only) in the name of T. John College, payable at Bangalore,
towards TUITION FEES FOR RESERVING YOUR SEAT.
ii. For other courses, Send us the Application Form along with DD for
Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) in the name of T.JOHN
COLLEGE, payable at Bangalore, towards TUITION FEES FOR RESERVING YOUR
SEAT.
You must also attach photocopies of the documents (with respect to
eligibility) as mentioned in the application form.
After we receive your filled up Application Form along with the DD and
photocopies of the documents, we will reserve your seat in our college.
We will confirm this to you. The balance of fees (Please refer fees
Structure) can be paid after your arrival at Bangalore.
Hostel facilities available separately for both boys and girls. Bus
facilities to college is also available. (We have college buses).

9) Is there any Entrance
Exam for PG Course?
a. For MCA, MBA, BHM & B.Sc. Nursing you will be admitted on
the basis of entrance exam and depending upon the subject taken and
aggregate marks scored in your degree course.
b. For M.Sc. (Bio-technology), M.Sc. (Bio-chemistry), M.Sc. (Electronic
Media), you will be admitted depending upon the subject taken and
aggregate marks scored in your degree course.

11) Is the Reservation
Amount Refundable?
20% of the amount paid for reservation (Rs. 4,000) in case of Degree
& Rs. 10,000/- in case of Post Graduate courses will be
deducted if the written refund application is received before the
commencement of classes.
12) When do the Degree and
PG Courses start?

No application for refund will be entertained after the commenceent of
classes, and you are liable to pay the balance of fees for the full
course once you are admitted to any course.
13) How about the Faculties?
We have experienced & Qualified faculties, they give individual
attention and guidance to each student.

materials?
Most of the books are available at our college Library, There are
certain books which you need to purchase.
16) What are the facilities
