To commemorate world AIDS day, on December 1st . the students of III yr. B.Sc. Nursing created on AIDS awareness programme entitled "Universal Access and Human Rights".

The focus of this theme is to bring social awareness of the myths and stigmas surrounding this epidemic.

The highlight of the programme was a documentary film "FATE OR FAULT" created by the III BSc. Nursing Students. The film showcased the poignant story of "Anakha a ten year old girls with AIDS". It effectively touched the hearts of the audience.

This was followed by a colloquium where the speakers elaborated on the "Opportunistic infections related to HIV" and effective presentation were made on the treatment regimen HAART (Highly Active Anti Retroviral Therapy).

The purpose and commitment with which the III BSc. Nursing students conceive and worked to bring into reality. This programme served its objective.
