Students of I, III, and V semester BHM students have attended a seminar on "Quality Service in five star hotels" taken by Mr. Sourish Bishnu Jana, faculty of BHM, T. John College on 30th September 2009. This seminar was exclusively conducted for students to know more about latest happenings in Hotel Industry and also to relate the theoretical aspects of Food & Beverage Service with the practical ones.

Like every year, Department of Hotel Management has celebrated Cake Mixing Ceremony at BHM Training Bakery this year in November 2008. Dr. Thomas P. John, Chairman of T. John Group of Institutions was invited as the Chief Guest of this event. Also all faculties across T. John College have actively participated to make this event more successful.

Department of Hotel Management has inaugurated its Food & Beverage Production Club named as "Apprêt". The main objective of Apprêt is to help in smooth running of various events coordinated in our college campus where active participation of F&B Production Dept. is necessary. Apprêt was inaugurated by our honorable Campus Director, Principal, Vice-Principal along with Director and HOD of BHM department. Students of all semester had actively participated to make this event successful.
