Workshop by The Center for Training Excellence
The Department of Languages, has been widening its horizon by conducting workshops and seminars on various themes by inviting expert resource persons. As a part of this extended service, the Dept of Languages organized one day workshop on "Presentation Skills" on 8th Sept, 2007 for all final year under graduates and "How to face an Interview" for all final year post graduate students on 28th Sept, 2007.
Dr. Lalitha Appachu, Director, Center for Training Excellence was the resouce person for the workshop. She is a renowned personality in the corporate world who trains professionals, post graduates and graduates, accross the country. Both the workshops proved to be interesting interactive and informative. It server as an eye opener for the final year post graduate students. The students were immersely benifitted through these workshops, as it threw light on career plannin, self assessment, job search, preparing for interview, CV writing and improving their presentation skills.
