T. John College organized a two-day workshop on THE DYNAMICS OF POST-ACCREDITATION QUALITY ASSURANCE, in collaboration with Education Management Services. A group of three eminent personalities including Dr. Mariamma A.Varghese (former V.C. Women’s University), Dr. S Ravichandra Reddy (Ex Registrar, Bangalore University) and Dr. Shankuntala Katre [Prof. (Retd.) Bangalore University] conducted sessions on various topics. Dr. Varghese discoursed on the New Methodology of Assessment and Accreditation, Dr. Reddy talked about the Quality Gaps and Dr. Katre focused on Internal Quality Assurance System and Internal Quality Assurance Cell. They spoke about the vision, mission, and objectives of NAAC to improve the quality of the services provided by the college.
The aim of the workshop was to familiarize the faculty members with the new methodology and procedures of re-assessment and re-accreditation of any institute. An interactive session was held between the resource persons from EMS and the faculties, which proved to be very fruitful as the T John College is going for Re-accreditation, by NAAC this year. The College provided snacks and Lunch for both the days.
