HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE (HDFC SL) signed the MOU with T JOHN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND SCIENCE (TIMS), Gottigere, to authorize TIMS as the Regional Training Centre for HDFC SL’s Sales Development Manager’s Training program called "First Advantage Programme" on December 15, 2009.
Highlights of the Programme
- ◊ T John Institute of Management and Science will be partnering with HDFC Standard Life in acquiring and training the participants.
- ◊ On Selection for the two months training at TIMS, the participants will be given the offer letter as Sales Development Mangers.
MOU Signing
HDFC Standard Life Insurance is the pioneer in Insurance industry in the private sector and known for their ethical and value based selling. T John Institute of Management and Science is one of the prestigious educational institution affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE. The college is a part of renounced T John Group of Institutions, Bannerghatta Road, Gottigere.
On behalf of Chairman Dr.Thomas P John, T John Group of Institution, Campus Director Wg.Cdr. (Retd.). Sambasivan signed the MOU and on behalf of HDFC Standard Life Mr.Rajendra Gagh, Executive Vice President, HR signed the MOU. Dr.Sridharan, Principal, T John Institute of Management and Science, Mr.SathyaNarayana, Senior HR Manager, HDFC SL, South, presented the MOU details and the modalities.
Programme Details
T John Institute of Management and Science will be partnering with HDFC SL in acquiring and training the participants. The programme targets Graduates and Final year Graduate students. The uniqueness of the programme is, the participant will be offered a conditional offer letter from HDFC SL when he joins for the programme, and will be appointed as Sales Development Manager on successful completion. The programme duration is two months, including classroom and on the job training. The programme aims to select and develop industry ready professionals to match with the value based selling proposition of HDFC Standard Life.
Selection Process
The selection process is through Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview conducted by TIMS and HDFC Standard Life Insurance.
